Collective exhibition in the 17th arrondissement of Paris

We hadn't really realised that on Saturday, December 10th, date of the Art in Bloom collective exhibition, Morocco would be celebrating its football victory in the afternoon, or even that France would be facing England with the same round ball in the evening quarter finals.

Because let's be honest, a sublime place located so close to the Place de l'Étoile, on paper, made us dream.

We couldn't have guessed that, because of fans parading down the Champs-Elysées to scream and shout their joy and excitement, the metro stations and some major roads would be closed...

Whatever, the thing is that, ignoring the external rout, our artists appropriated the space of the Sormani restaurant, located on Rue du Général Lanrezac, on the two levels that the establishment offers, and the result was purely awesome!

The public (who were neither shouting on the most beautiful avenue in the world, nor in front of their television sets) really appreciated the diversity of the works and the fact that the styles and universes were mixed. The reception of the director, Franck, did not spoil the event, the artists as well as the public were pampered with kindness and small attentions.

A nameless happiness.

And to top it all off, this was the first collective exhibition and the alchemy that emerged from the physical reunion of these artists was a tangy candy for Art in Bloom...

Exhibiting artists: Anaëlle Forte, Karine Gibbons, Danièle Lartigue, Astrid Link and Benoit Lupi
